ABOUT
ARTICLE 39A

We aim to promote equal justice and opportunity by removing economic and social barriers through advocacy, legal aid, and community empowerment.

MISSION & HISTORY.

Mission.

Our organization is dedicated to upholding the principles enshrined in Article 39-A of the Indian Constitution, which champions the intertwined values of equal justice and equal opportunity. Our mission is to dismantle economic and social barriers that hinder access to justice for marginalized and disadvantaged communities. By providing legal aid, advocating for policy reforms, and raising awareness, we strive to create an inclusive society where every individual has the opportunity to seek and obtain justice. We believe that true justice can only be achieved when it is accessible to all, regardless of their economic or social standing. Our work is driven by a commitment to equity, empowerment, and the fundamental belief that justice should know no barriers.

History.

Founded in 2021, our organization emerged from a collective recognition of the significant disparities that prevent equal access to justice in India. Inspired by the visionary ideals of Article 39-A, our founders, a group of dedicated legal professionals and social activists, sought to address the systemic obstacles faced by marginalized communities. Over the years, we have grown from a small, passionate team into a robust network of advocates, legal experts, and volunteers. Our early efforts focused on providing direct legal aid to those in need, but we quickly expanded our scope to include policy advocacy and public education. Today, we are recognized as a leading voice in the fight for justice and equality, working tirelessly to ensure that the constitutional promise of equal justice and opportunity becomes a reality for all.

CHALLENGES
ADDRESSED BY US.

Our organization tackles significant barriers to equal justice in India. Economic barriers prevent marginalized communities from affording legal representation, excluding them from the justice system. Social barriers, such as caste, gender, and religious discrimination, further alienate disadvantaged groups, particularly women, who face societal pressures and a lack of awareness about their rights.

Additionally, the complexity of legal procedures and the lack of legal literacy hinder many from seeking justice. The bureaucratic and often inaccessible nature of legal institutions exacerbates these challenges.

To address these issues, we provide free legal aid and representation, ensuring that economic constraints do not block access to justice. Through community outreach and education programs, we raise awareness about legal rights and available remedies. We also advocate for policy reforms to create a more inclusive and equitable legal system for all citizens, regardless of their socio-economic status.

PARTNERS.

Article 39A collaborates with a diverse network of partners, including legal aid societies, non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, and community groups. These partnerships are crucial in extending our reach and impact, enabling us to provide comprehensive support and resources to those in need. By working together, we combine expertise, share resources, and amplify our collective efforts to break down barriers to justice. Our partners play an essential role in helping us achieve our mission of ensuring equal justice and opportunity for all.
